Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during my first consultation? Initial consultations are typically 60 minutes. During your initial session, we’ll review your eating habits and lifestyle factors including social life, work hours, family responsibilities, exercise, and health history (i.e. health conditions, medications). Then assist you in setting realistic long-term and short-term goals.. We finish the appointment with an individualized nutrition plan to get you closer to your goals. Your second appointment will be scheduled at the end of the session and is typically 4-6 weeks out or sooner.

What do I need to bring for my first appointment? You will need to provide your insurance card and your ID.

Why do I need to provide a credit card?

Once your appointment has been confirmed, we save the time slot specifically to provide nutrition counseling for you. Therefore, in order to respect our provider's time, we ask for a credit card on file due to our NO-Show Policy. If you provide no notice and completely fail to show up to a scheduled appointment, our practice will charge $50. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call 484-222-0224 or email us at [email protected] 24 hours prior to your appointment.

How do I know if my insurance covers nutrition counseling services? The best way to find out your insurance coverage is to call the phone number on the back of your insurance card.
